— FuninVR Statement Regarding the Copying of “Phoenix-X”
In May this year, Phoenix-X made its global debut at the 22nd Guangzhou Asian Amusement & Attractions Expo (AAA).
As FuninVR’s next-generation multiplayer aerial combat simulator, Phoenix-X combines futuristic craft aesthetics, an anti-gravity hovering experience, and extreme combat motion. It is an original creation meticulously developed and refined by our design team over countless hours—and it quickly became one of the show’s biggest crowd-pullers, drawing some of the longest queues on the exhibition floor.
Recently, we have noticed products on the market whose appearance bears a striking resemblance to Phoenix-X.
We would like to make three things clear:
First, we respect every industry peer who is committed to creating quality products. But copying is not a form of tribute.
An imitation may replicate the appearance, but it cannot replicate the design logic behind Phoenix-X’s dynamic environmental experience, nor the engineering expertise required to fine-tune its extreme combat movements.
And it certainly cannot replicate the market validation and reputation built through 6,000+ projects delivered across 100+ countries worldwide.
Second, we have long been prepared to protect what we created.
The exterior design of Phoenix-X has been granted a design patent by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA).

FuninVR has completed the necessary preservation and collection of relevant evidence and will take firm legal action in accordance with the Patent Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the People’s Republic of China, and other applicable laws and regulations.
FuninVR’s lawful rights and interests in the design patent of Phoenix-X are protected by law. Any entity that, without authorization, manufactures, sells, or offers for sale products that infringe upon these rights will be held fully liable in accordance with applicable law.
